Meet Dr. Hani Ahdab
Hani Ahdab DDS, MS
Dr. Hani is a native of Newport Beach, California, growing up with a passion for surfing, skating, and snowboarding.
He completed his undergraduate education at UC Santa Barbara with a major in film studies and subsequently worked in the film and television industry both in New York and Los Angeles.
After a few years of working, Dr. Hani decided to change career paths and pursue his childhood dream of becoming an orthodontist.
Dr. Hani completed his dental education in 2014 at Indiana University School of Dentistry graduating with highest distinction and receiving several awards and recognition including the:
- OKU Alpha and Omega Award
- AAOB Oral Biology Award
- William Kramer Award
- ADA Dentsply Research Award
- Membership in the OKU honor Society
After dental school, Dr. Hani completed his residency at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. The residency gave Dr. Hani exposure to several techniques and procedures including working with mini implants, soft tissue laser, and Propel systems. Patients describe Dr. Hani as a fun, dedicated, detail oriented person with an eagerness to learn.
Outside of orthodontics Dr. Hani enjoys spending time with his wife Judi and two daughters, Emri and Zowie. He loves going to concerts, playing guitar, trying new restaurants, hiking, bouldering, and most outdoor activities. Dr. Hani is excited for the opportunity to work with you!
